The 24th March the European Day of Artisan Gelato is celebrated all around Europe. This year there is the 7th edition of this event born thanks to a Longarone Fiere and Artglace idea. The 2019 taste is Tiramisu and the official recipe has been created by Thomas Infanti, the young gelto maker that won the Gelato Tiramisu Italian Cup during MIG 59.
This young is already known in the gelato field thanks to its victory at the competition “Taste of the Year” in Italy. His taste “Dolci Armonie” (that means “Sweet Harmony”) was made with ricotta, orange honey and pistachio.
His talent as gelato maker is so well known that MIG panel declare Thomas’ Tiramisu gelato the European Taste 2019.
