On the occasion of the 64th edition of MIG – Mostra Internazionale del Gelato Artigianale, scheduled in the halls of Longarone Fiere Dolomiti from 23 to 25 November 2024, the International Coppa d’Oro Competition, now in its 54th edition, will take place.

This prestigious competition tests the best ice cream makers, both Italian and international, who will compete in the preparation of the best artisanal Pistachio flavour with milk base ice cream.


Who can participate?

The competition is open to all professional gelato makers over 18 years of age operating in Italy or abroad. Participation requires online registration and delivery of the ice cream on 23 November 2024, at the fair, following the procedures indicated in the official regulations. The registration fee is € 80.00.


Stages of the competition

  1. First stage – Saturday 23 November 2024
    The competitors will present their ice cream samples, which will be assessed by a qualified jury for taste and texture. The best 10 samples will advance to the next stage.
  2. Second Stage – Monday 25 November 2024
    The finalists will have to prepare a Pistachio-flavoured ice cream in a multi-stage workshop. This will be done in the presence of the public, and the jury will also evaluate the samples for their aestheticpresentation, awarding the CreativityPrize.
  3. Final Stage – Monday 25 November 2024
    The jury will carry out a public evaluation of the finalist samples and, at the end of the day, the winners will be announced.

Prizes

The first runner-up will win the prestigious GOLDENCUP 2024, while the finalists will receive special trophies and awards. There will also be an Under 32Award for the best young ice cream makers.

The public is welcome! The final stage of the competition will be open to all and it will be possible to watch the live performances of the ice cream makers.
